guys, mind you that when Avengers arrives the public will be interested in Marvel again. If the main protagonists will be Spider-Man, Strange Thor, Scarlett Witch, Loki they will still break the bank at the box office
 

today people are not interested in seeing Marvel movies at the cinema like before Infinity War. the quality didn't help, the too many TV series made the interest decrease also for the cinematographic part. Marvel and Disney(!!!) thought whatever they did the public wouldn't "go away".

What if main protagonist are Captain Marvel, Captain America & Shang-Chi? Captain Marvel is going to be the leader of Avengers in comics from May. Assumptions not gonna help MCU's box office now.

Captain Marvel couldn't even be the leading role of her own sequel. So I don't think she will lead the team.

What Disney/marvel studios is thinking matters most here. We'll know anyway in a few months to a year.

Nobody outside of geeks care who leads the team. Captain America was the original leader but Iron Man was the one who was always front and center.

Tony Stark and Steve Rogers had led the Avengers; Marvel had said that in the Eternals movie. So both Tony and Steve were leaders of the Avengers. Also who do you think will be replacing Tony Stark as Feige already confirmed that Sam Wilson has replaced Steve Rogers?

That's not how movies work. If the lead is Captain Marvel or Captain America, they can't market it as a Spider-Man or Doctor Strange movie; they can't mislead the audience, as they are smarter than the studios think.

They market it as an Avengers movies. Like they always do. Also audiences can easily be mislead. Marvel did it so much with Infinity War. Steve Rogers was very prominent in the marketing for Infinity War way more than others. Yet he is barely in the movie. They put the most liked in the trailers. Why Captain Marvel is so little in this is a weird one. Another example: Dune had Zendaya everywhere in the marketing for Dune but she is barely in the movie. Audiences can be mislead plenty of times. They don´t care if they like the movie.

They have Spidey, Thor, Wanda, Deadpool, Doctor Strange,  Loki, and prob plenty more with Multiverse shit. They just have to make a good movie. They have plenty of big hitters. No one on the level of Tony or Steve tho (expect Spidey)

They tried to mislead the audience with Eternals & failed, they tried to market Eternals as Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek & Richard Madden's movie. They are not marketing The Marvels as Ms marvel or Monica movie, Captain Marvel is at forefront & middle of the poster. And everyone knows The Marvels is Captain Marvel movie so it doesn't matter if she is less in the trailer.
