pepsa Posted February 16, 2022 Share Posted February 16, 2022 (edited) Thats a decently good 3rd weekend drop, hoping for another 25% or less this weekend. EG /IW dropped pretty hard on it's second weekend, whilst IW had very steep 4th weekend drop (after an amazing 3rd weekend one). So if spidey manages a good drop this weekend (it should, it's acting nothing like Avengers movies), we are looking at a total of close to €12m, with batman being the big factor. No Way Home is having a fantastic run, it has taken €1.141m this Weekend which is more than NTTD's 6th Weekend cume of €1.024m, Spectre's €1.005m, Bohemian Rhapsody's €902k, Skyfall's €876k and only Behind Avatar's €1.525m and Titanic cume of 6th Weekend. I don't know what you are talking about. Between FB1 and FB 3, FB2 movie exists. FB2 did €3m including previews and FB3 has grossed €2m. It's down 2/3rd gross of it's prequel. How is it "pretty good"? It's alright if you wanna be positive but there is no need to rub your optimism on me. pepsa Posted April 12, 2022 Share Posted April 12, 2022 (edited) Like SShanks said, the opening is pretty bad, admission price is alot higher than it was 4 years ago (covid inflation) and people are going back to the cinema as much as before. That said FB3 has a big advanatage in the upcomming week, from friday till monday people and childeren have holiays, meaning the drop should be quite good. So I would expect a small drop this weekend (10% or lower should be the goal). After it's second weekend the real test begins (FB2 36.7% second weekend drop, 35.7% 3rd weekend) meaning if it stays close to 30% on it's 3rd weekend it might have a shot at €10m, although this is very unlikely. I woudn't panic unless this weekend drops bad or it's 3rd weekend has a +40% drop.
