Dinklage plays Cyrano. Pretty sure he already played him in the musical.

Have always been a fan of Peter Dinklage since I was him in The Station Agent. I think this interests me. Ben Mendelson is great, Joe wright the director needs to bounce back from the mess that was The Woman in the Window. He has some good films under his belt previously.

Goddamn it, I'm gonna love end up loving this movie merely because of the music. I do like Anna Karenina (easily Wright's best film) vibes though.

EXCLUSIVE: United Artists Releasing is pivoting its awards season release of MGM’s Joe Wright feature musical Cyrano.

 

Instead of the Peter Dinklage-Haley Bennett movie going limited on Dec. 31, UAR will qualify the movie for Oscars with a one week run in Los Angeles on Dec. 17. The pic, which already counts 86% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, will then start a platform expansion on Jan. 21 before going wide in early February.
