Did "The Princess" do badly in test screening?  Otherwise I don't know why would Disney send this film straight-to-streaming.

I saw the TV spot during NBA final, and it looks very commercial.  Joey King will be more famous after "Bullet Train", If Disney release the film theatrically after "Bullet Train",  the film could make some money at box office (if the film is not bad).

It is sad that Disney is releasing most of their films straight-to-streaming (except big blockbusters), while other studios start to release more films theatrically.  (Even Amazon is requiring MGM to release more films theatrically.)

Joey King is a sort of streaming queen between those Kissing Booth movies, the recent The In Between, and other projects. Makes sense her latest vehicle is also a streaming title.

Damn, pretty wide. Us 20k folk gonna get rekt 🤣

Yea it’ll probably be in the $100-150K range, now that I’m looking a little closer. Texans love Texas.

Looking at the Derby though, I think anyone who did over $300K is going to get 0 so shooting under on this will be beneficial either way.

I hadn't heard about it, but it does appear that all of the showings are in Texas.  I want to say the same thing happened with 12 Mighty Orphans last year, but I can't remember if it had any other states included in that limited release

Spoiler

Okay, I was already planning on tracking it, but this seals the deal.

Spoiler

And, more importantly, couldn't pass up the opportunity to use the gif, especially with Kenobi airing right now.

Spoiler

Gotta stay "on brand" after all.

ngl, dreading having LightyearMinions 2, and Thor 2 all overlapping.  Mostly because I expect a ton of shows on Lightyear and Thor 2 which will make for a bad enough double dip even without throwing in a Sonic 2 sized Minions 2 run.

That brief window where MoM, JDW, and TG2 all overlapped was bad enough.  Tend to think this one is gonna be even worse. 😕
