juni78ukr
Will IS get to $25M? Possibly. Will be around 23m after Thursday. Should make 1mln on Friday-Sunday after that.
pepsa
Friday-Sunday after that. How will the weekend of MJ1 be incomperison with CF? And what total do you expect for MJ1?
juni78ukr
So far 2nd weekend of MJ1 looks well below of CF. 16-16.5 mln RUB on Thursday vs 19 mln for CF. Will be a lot worse in USD.

juni78ukr
And what total is MJ1 looking for? 20M? No way. Catching Fire barely had 2 mulitplyer. Maybe 17.5-18 mln. Kinda embarassing after 10 mln opening weekend.

efialtes76
84% week to week drop for Mockingjay with more than a third theaters reported. That's really hard. Around 850k opening day for Penguins. 300-310k for Horrible Bosses 2. Only 736k for Penguins.Poor.
keysersoze123
WOW. Madagascar movies to my knowledge were huge in russia. This will probably struggle to gross 10M in russia.
juni78ukr
Kinometro still expects 9mln OW or even more. Weekend multiplyers are huge in Russia.

keysersoze123
9M OW means it will almost increase 5x on saturday and almost stay flat on sunday?
Fullbuster
It's weak for Penguins given how successful Madagascar movies were, but I'm fine with that, BH6 completely deserves to rake in more
juni78ukr
9M OW means it will almost increase 5x on saturday and almost stay flat on sunday? Family movies always increase here on Sunday. Up to 20-30%. But I agree that kinometro projections were a bit optimistic.

Leyla
yep Nolan is praised to the skies as usual too bad for JLaw Part 2 will compensate for that tho next year imo deadline reports Russia opened well for a comedy with $2.3M on 1,050 screens and ranking No. 3. Okish I guess Hopefully it has decent legs Edited December 2, 2014 by Tauriel

juni78ukr
How about Big Hero 6? What's its current running total? It's kinda done in Russia isn't it? 91% drop. Penguins killed it. 67,000 6th weekend, 21.61 mln total. 20.2 mln according to studio numbers. Russian rouble recently fell quite a lot.
Fullbuster
The Rouble lost 60% against the Dollar this year, it's absolutely huge, it lost 6.5% yesterdat alone! Movies will suffer, particularly Mockingjay!
