If true, then what the fuck is Marvel doing? Between Ant-Man 3 tanking and Guardians 3 likely opening below $100M domestically, this is the last thing they need to be doing right now. Shit like this is going to dilute the Marvel brand big time, and it's already damaged goods right now.

Marvel Studios is not realy involved in the Spideyverse spin offs; Feige has been careful to keep his distance.  Sony is handling the actual making of the films.

I got a feeling that SONY seems to have lost faith in the Kraven movie.
