IndustriousAngel
I think that was the upper trend for Ice Age during the weekend.Yes, did better than expected while Spiderman went down with every estimate. I still don't see it making more than 6 million admissions.

Spiderman didn't hold as good as I hoped, just ok numbers. Snow White finally overtook Men in Black 3 not only in admissions but also in Dollars. Chernobyl Diaries shows excellent legs, in Austria it was Nr. 3! "Intouchables" had a small increase (again!) but dropped out of the Top 10. This week, "The Five-Year Engagement" will be the only opener doing big numbers so "Intouchables" might re-enter the Top 10 in week nr. 28! IndustriousAngel
great hold for IA4.Yes, weather is not friendly this weekend which favours indoor entertainment. TASM's drop looks the worse for it. Batman rises July 24th so Spideys final gross will be really disappointing.5YearEngagement opens weaker than I thought, there is no RomCom-competition worth mentioning atm (if you don't count Spiderman) so 150k is on the low side of expectations. IndustriousAngel
Dark Knight had 3.3mil in Germany and Austria combined; Inception 3,7mil. Christopher Nolan has a reputation here so 3.5 million Austria+Germany seems reasonable. Surprise bonus fact: While Superhero films tend not to do that well here in general, 2008 was a good year for them. In fact, "The Dark Knight" was beaten by another hero even doing better, and that was Hancock! And by quite a margin too, Hancock had more than 4.3mil admissions in Germany+Austria. John Marston
seems like another solid hold for ASM, and TDKR doesn't open until the 25th so it still has an extra weekend to make money
