IndustriousAngel
Yep, has a good chance to be Germany's #2 on the 2014 charts, only beaten by Hobbit3. But it will be close, QecqoafaBD is already at 3,6mil admissions and is still adding a few admissions every week.

MJ1 will probably surpass CF's total by about 10% and should be nr.1 for 2014 until the Hobbit strikes.
IndustriousAngel
First trend for Germany's weekend: #1: MJ1 - 375k admissions (very close to HG) #2: Paddington - 225k - 375k #3: Penguins - 200k That's not as good as hoped-for for Paddington ... with the notable exception of MJ1, most openers in the last weeks were below expectations. edit: Saturday trend not much different. IndustriousAngel
Final weekend trend for Germany: #1: MJ1 - 385k admissions (-40%, still ahead of HG by about 10%) #2: Paddington - 275k (meh but hopefully good legs) #3: Penguins - 250k (-35%, ok with that bear opening) #4: Alles ist Liebe - 115k (another opener underperforming) #5: Interstellar - 75k (-35%, Hobbit3 will be the death of this I guess)

IndustriousAngel
Looks good. The Hobbit triple features are selling like crazy and the usual presales look a bit higher than AUJ/DOS too so overall I think it can be 10-15% higher after opening weekend. Of course, it's possible that this will lead to a drop the weekend after - depends on the quality, too. But I think the shorter running time will give it a bit of an edge, and I'm hoping for >6mil admissions total in Germany, again.

H3 should be at or above 4mil admissions after its 3rd weekend, so MJ1 has to reach those 3,7mil admissions it needs by Dec 24th. It will be difficult, now that H3 is grabbing screeens like crazy. Paddington's opening seemed a bit meh but I hadn't realised this was so far behind Penguins in theaters - with its good PTA, Paddington should be in for a great hold and maybe even a slight expansion next weekend. German remake of dutch romcom "Alles ist Liebe" had embarassing numbers, really. As to Woody's latest - "Magic in the Moonlight" couted less than half the admissions of BlueJasmine which opened at a similar time. No chance to sugarcoat these numbers, that's a bona fide flop for Woody Next weekend: HOBBIT 3 is the only wide opener, of course. Including midnights/triple features, it should clear 1.3mil admissions if it wants to do similar numbers to H2 and 1.

IndustriousAngel
It could be more frontloaded than the first two though thanks to the finale factor. It will be, but maybe more because of triple features and midnights - the opening weekday was very strong. Weekend business doesn't look stronger than H1 or 2. Anyway, a good start, but of course the next 3 weekends need to be good also (remember that H1 had its strongest weekend in week 3!)
