Domestic musical comedy Ich war noch niemals in New York topped 100k but was definitely on the lower end of expectations. Next weekend: The latest Terminator movie hits theaters; frankly I don't know what to expect, the franchise has a very unhealthy reek by now but with the original cast maybe 300k are possible (though I doubt it). Also opening: The Addams Family plus two other CGI movies … good scheduling here, haha. And Brittany Runs a Marathon is the kind of movie that has sleeper potential if it can generate some WOM. 4 2
Aristis
Thursday numbers: #1 Joker 67k (-42%) €610k/$677k - worse than I hoped for... with last weeks IM it'd get to 414k WE. Hope it can be higher. #2 Terminator 25k // €230k/$255k - worst OD for the franchise since the first (Genisys had 40k OD) #3 Maleficent 23,5k (-53%) €225k/$250k #4 Ich war noch niemals... 18,5k (+23%) €160k/$178k - that is a nice surprise #5 Addams Family 10k // €75k/$83k 2

Kogustaki Mucize 52,5k (+22%) 140k - I don't know anything about this turkish movie but it seems to have great WOM among its audience. It opened with 15k in 31 theatres, increased 180% to 43k (47 theatres) and has another increase now. Normally turkish movies tend to be very frontloaded here. Some thought the T6 number must be a typo...but unfortunately it's not. The family films did not decrease which speaks against the weather theory but because most other films also lost several 10k admissions it could still be a factor and maybe Mark_G already calculated with lower multipliers for the family films in the first trend. It was today indeed very sunny in most parts of Germany and tomorrow this will continue in Bavaria but in other states it's said to be mixed. At least next weekend is predicted to become way colder and changeable. So maybe Terminator will - like several other films in recent weeks - have good holds. Bart Allen
Does anyone have any articles on whether Joke has won the Silver or Gold (or above) Bogey Awards in Germany? Titanium: Viewed by ten million people. Platinum: Five million people within the first fifty days of release. Gold: Three million people within thirty days. Silver: Two million people within twenty days. Bronze: One million people within 10 days. Bogey Award: One million people, or 1000 people per copy, with a minimum of 25 copies, within first ten days. Yeah it got the Bronze award (one million in 10 days and more than 1000 people per copy) and should have gotten the silver one by now but they might not have written an article about that yet. If it gets to Gold it would tie with TLK and Avengers for this year with the important difference that TLK got to 5M on its 53rd day and endgame on day 59 or so, while Joker will fall short by most likely a million.
