seems VERY sensible; Nemo had nearly 9mil admissions back in 2003. But with 3D / more expensive tickets, I guess a drop in admissions might happen. (of course, we know nothing about Dory's quality, there's always that)

Pixels seems to have generated a little WOM but the PTA is still low. JW crossed 4mil total in week 10 and its dailies are head-to-head with Ant-Man (in week 4). Honig im Kopf is a hit with open air audiences, it sells out 1000-seaters like crazy.

 

Next weekend: Nothing big is released but "Der kleine Rabe Socke 2" might put a little dent in other family stuff - though I doubt it will hurt the Minions, it's targeted at much younger kids.

well, there's always weather to consider - this weekend was much nicer for cinemas than last weekend. Next weekend should be so/so if forecasts hold so, with no new competition, another strong hold is possible but I expext a 30% drop.

Very good drops for both Pixels and JW.

It's funny to see JW performing about on par with Ant-Man in its 10th week.

I hope it can cross 3mil total. An unbiased prediction however would put it at somewhere around 2 million - animation which caters to adults as well as children is simply no big draw in Germany (and Austria). Pixar's greatest hits in Germany were Nemo and Ratatouille.
