Fullbuster
The exchange rate considerably improved this week. Good for TF5 and Spidey.

Mockingjay Raphael
In Brazil, the Michael Bay-directed fifth in the franchise delivered $4.4M at 611 cinemas, a No. 1 market opening and logging the biggest opening in the Transformers‘ franchise in the country.
Mockingjay Raphael
Ouch, that's disappointing. Pirates 5 opened at $5.6m and finished at $16.6m. I can't see it grossing more than $14m even with summer vacations, it's going to decrease at least 50% compared to TF4 in $.
Mockingjay Raphael
Wonder Woman is at $33.3m.
XO21
SMH did $3.3m, -42% from last week ($5.7m). Total: $25.7m Is it a good hold given that T5 opened? Edited July 24, 2017 by XO21

Yes, it's definitely good.It is now certain to become the highest-grossing Spidey movie in USD despitr the terrible exchange rate, a real success 👍🙂

They're misleading here...TF4 got a much bigger start thanks to 2-week-long previews. TF5 will be lower in the end.
Fullbuster
I saw Justice League / Thor 3's trailer and I'm surprised to say Thor 3 is more exciting imo... That's crazy because I was disappointed in Thor 1&2 while I loved Man of Steel and Wonder Woman. Thor 3 seems amazingly fun and ambitious. As for Justice League I'm certain to like it but they need to step up a bit.

LOL @ Besson and his Brazilian distributor for thinking they can take on Dunkirk. Should have immediately delayed it after seeing how it tanked so badly in North America. Doesn't matter. Brazilians are big fans of Nolan. That is enough for Dunkirk to do well.
