would F8's admission number challenge titanic, which is the all time record in brazil?? if F7 didnt, I don't see F8 would do that

Titanic : 17.7 million admissions

FF7 : 9.8m

There is no way it happens, even 10m admissions is not sure to be reached.

I don't expect Titanic to be beaten anytime soon when it comes to admissions :P

We have admission data every week, they're available. You can have the most important data of all time here :

https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lista_de_filmes_de_maior_bilheteria#Maiores_bilheterias_no_Brasil

And data for every year (2000-2016) : https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilheteria_de_cinema_no_Brasil

Data 2017 : https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilheteria_dos_cinemas_no_Brasil_em_2017

Have fun :)

Nope, not the only one. Read it again :P

It's in Portuguese so I explain : this is the right line in admissions :

Filmes mais vistos no Brasil

Titanic is not alone, the second one is Jaw (Tubarao) from 1975.

I mean, by revenue, not by admission, the chart next to admission

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be released here on April 27 (SO EXCITED!!!)

Weird, IMDB showed May 8 last week, they made a mistake I guess. April 27 wil be even more problematic for F8.

I'm also very excited about it by the way, I loved the first one.

The first one wasn't a big success in Brazil though with only $16m in 2014 when the ER was much better....But I think this GOTG2 will get a huge bump.

I think it will definitely get a bump. Anticipation is high and I guess very few people saw the first one when it was released (I didn't see it).

And IMDB shows May 4 (wrong) ---> April 27 and has midnight screenings.
