SentryTrans
So SM3 was the OW record there. ASM will crush TA 2 months later ... SM3 made about 36m in 2007, without 3D and IMAX.Considering inflation, 3D, IMAX, changes in exchange rate, that means more than 50m.
Shantal
SM3 made about 36m in 2007, without 3D and IMAX.Considering inflation, 3D, IMAX, changes in exchange rate, that means more than 50m.And do we consider the very big rise in piracy, some people not wanting to pay the increased amount of money for a ticket or other factors when we compare movies from more than 1 or 2 years ago. Just because one movie sold y amount of tickets x years ago doesn't mean that it will sell them today, with current conditions. Because if that's the case, lets all worship Gone with the Wind, Star Wars (the 1977 one) or The Sound of Music (No re-releases, ever)and be done with it. There isn't a movie that's going to break those records in attendance.Lets see what Amazing Spider-man does this year in Mexico and then we can compare it and TA with an even playing field. The reality is this - what 99.9% of people measures records in the movie business is money made at the time of release.
