Moon Knight?

Marvel Studios still has X-men, Deadpool, Fantastic Four, Dr Doom, Avengers, etc sitting in their back pocket.

Disney isn't panicking like ya'll think.

Except for Deadpool, everyone else's success is not guaranteed. If they want Avengers, F4, and X-Men to do very well at the box office, they'll need to make sure both the GA and hardcore bases continue to be interested in the connected storyline. And here comes the problem: To make sure people continue to be interested in the overarching storyline, they'll need someone who can replace Tony Stark, but Marvel Studios was reluctant to reveal that name in Phase 4 and now they have to reveal that name, as KD is releasing in 2025. But will the MCU fanbase accept that name? because all they want is for their favourites to take Tony's place. Who'll be that character? Are MCU fans already excited for that character? Until we know answers to these questions we can't say anything for sure.

Dude cmoonnnnnnn. I’m a marvel fan too but you don’t have to shill like this. It’s at the top of the 2023 chart because no other big movies have come out in 2023 yet! The end of year placement will be absolutely embarrassing. It has been totally rejected by audiences and will have a pathetic total both DOM and os born from horrible legs off a soft opening.

Biggest opening of the series = soft opening?

Also Ant-Man movies typically don't make the top 10 worldwide. This year is no exception.

How about Ant Man movie not crossing Ant Man 1 and Ant Man 2 at Boc Office.

And please enough with "Ant Man movie" or "Dr Strange movie"

Neither Ant Man Quantummania, nor Dr Strange Multiversal were normal sequels, they had added hook and increased hype factors.

Well, in the positive spin, it means this board has been wildly better about predicting the legs and performance of this movie than all the paid tweeting and article writing experts:)...no one here was saying "this will still do great" after weekend 1 vs all those other folks...

Also China usually pads the Ant-Man worldwide total by quite a bit.

Exactly the point . Even with china this coming below both Antman movies which is just plain bad.

If it didn't release in china atleast that would have been n excuse or we would have given it th the benefit of the doubt .

The point is China is obviously a weak market currently.

The first Ant-Man made 115 m there if you include Russia.

So Ant-Man 3 lost 85 million right there.

I wonder how OS revenues work for something like Creed III since WB is the distributor, is it similar to how Lionsgate works which has local partners who pay for to distribute their films or does WB get a fixed fee to cover their marketing and distribution costs?

You forgot M3GAN which is $90 Million+ Domestic / $170 Million WW.

Cocaine Bear jumps to fourth within a matter of days. A very in the moment list especially with so many mid to large size film releases in March.

2022 release because of 1 or 2 countries

The opening is not the problem. The problem is that the multiple is probably going under BvS as the worst for a 100m+ opener and it’s going to finish as the lowest grossing Ant Man movie WW, barely scrapping by 500m WW if lucky.

Twitter does not allow embedding tweets anymore?

I think it does..just that something seems to be broken on twitter since the past 20-30 mins. None of the images or any links posted on twitter are not working...something seems to be off with the Twitter APIs which is affecting this. Should be able to embed the tweets once this issue is sorted out
