HummingLemon496
if Top Gun 2 had China + Russia, then The Lion King would be getting kicked out of the top 10 WW in a month-ish I'm guessing But now we gotta wait until Avatar 3 to kick TLK out of top 10 Edited August 5 by HummingLemon496
Darth Lehnsherr
Don't think we'll know either way until September but if I had to make a decision now I reckon it just makes it with DOM late legs starting to flex.

Even if it got it release date and have a good WOM, unlikely it will get wide coverage or publicity. Everything in that movie is against what China government been doing. They have been badmouthing USA and entire western world for years (search up local Chinese news and website to grasp how severe is the smear campaign) and we start see the effect now, which is Chinese start staying away from Hollywood movie, in fact if you asked me, the effect start spreading to other parts of Asia.

TGM could have done well here. Cuz it's more like 90s Hollywood movies such as The Rock which local audience loved. A pity.

HummingLemon496
Infinity War is at $960M OS-China-Russia. Inside Out 2 is going to beat that, trust the process.
