All this talk of Inside Out 2 not passing Jurassic World is interesting considering that we haven’t even seen for sure that Inside Out 2 will be behind Jurassic World

@Brainbug, hold on before claiming victory lol, you could get your dreams crushed

I mean, that assumes latinos will be more interested on a black male lead than white audience. I'm not saying it can't happen, but I don't think latino audience are especially big on black lead films.

Black audiences are capable of superpowering blockbusters almost by themselves like BP and TLM but the new Falcon in Cap 4 is Latino (Top Gun Maverick's Danny Ramirez). They may play him up more in future trailers and promos as he was very charismatic on Falcon and Winter Soldier.

Na, victory is mine. Inside Out 2's hope (Labor Day expansion) wont be enough. Mere emotions are not enough to defeat the dinos!

If it makes you feel better, despite grossing more than Jurassic World domestically, Avatar 2 is significantly behind Jurassic World in admissions ($684M & $652M in gross vs 48M & 66M in admissions).

It’s ironic considering Labor Day expansion is what got Jurassic World above 650m

IO2 was starting to match TS4 dailies again but the Friday increase is a bit muted so it's behind again. Still can't rule $650M out until we start to see it lose significant screens soon. Jurassic World's DOM gross should be safe.

So I am sure this has happened before but first time I noticed some showings of movies like Quiet Place, Bad Boys, and even a Twisters one being crossed out. They are not obviously sold out so I assume they are giving the showtime to Deadpool.

Do you agree with u/AgentCooper315 that DPW is headed for $550M+ and maybe even $600M DOM?

$550M is happening. $600M i'm not sure, but it could get there. Needs a 2.85x multi to get there, I think it can
