In some roles, sure. In other roles? Josh Hartnett, objectively, would been a great Batman for the Nolan films, given what was asked of Bale. Bale gives the 4th best performance of TDK. Josh was distractingly pretty boyish in his early films and it caused some internet dweebs to underrate him until he made Sleven, when they realized he was an artsy geek all along, but by then it was too late to save his prime.
