First off, Arcturus Entertainment is pleased to announce that our previously announced plans for a Napoleon Bio-Drama will be realised. The film titled Corse will be written and directed by Academy Award Winner Michel Hazanavicius, and will star Nicolas Duvauchelle as Napoleon, and Academy Award Nominee Berenice Bejo as his wife Josephine. The film will chronicle the time period of Napoleon’s life from the rise of the Directory, his Italian, and Egyptian campaigns, and climaxing with Napoleon’s ascent to the French throne. We are also very proud to announce that we have teamed up with auteur Terrence Malick to create his newest movie. Titled Cartharsis this movie will explore some of life’s deepest corners, against a backdrop of eons of Italy from the raging inferno as the world was created, to present day Rome. The film stars an ensemble cast of Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter, Penelope cruz, Sean Penn, Paul Bettany, and Judi Dench. Production on this film has already finished, and the film has already been rated “R” by the MPAA, look for it to begin a platform release around Thanksgiving of Year 5. From Italy we travel to a mid-1800s California, where our collaboration with Academy Award Winning Director Martin Scorsese, will tell the tale of an Irishman, making his way through the Californian Gold Rush, and how he makes his way to the top, through some certain unethical methods. Academy Award Winners Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, and Tommy Lee Jones star is this movie. Production which secretly happened under the working title, Days We Die, is scheduled to wrap up early-mid next week. From one Gold tale to another, and from one legendary director to another, Steven Spielberg will be directing Oro which is a family, $150 million blockbuster film scheduled for May Year 5. This film starring Javier Bardem, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is about the Spanish conquest of South America, and a certain regiment’s search for El Dorado, the city of Gold. Production is scheduled to begin within the month. Lastly, we have two animated films in our Year 5 line-up. The First is a film that was delayed by production issues from Year 4. Entitled Felix this Lee Unkrich helmed, Ben Affleck voiced 3D CGI animated family film is about how the death of an eccentric man sets of a worldwide search for an ancient artefact, and how Sebastian and his lucky boat Felix seeks to beat the others to the treasure. The other animated tale, is an adaption of the children’s book, The Very Last First Time but with a distinct Salish twist to it. The director, and voice cast are still to be announced. The film's synopsis is this, "Society is set in a Midwestern town, where the youth struggle with the traditional and modern ideas on marriage, religion, stereotypes, drinking, drugs, abuse, bullying, gun violence, sexuality, and teen pregnancy." David Fincher the director said: "The film intertwines several stories of teens struggling in finding their role in a chaotic world" The film should come to theaters somewhere in October Year 5. The budget is rumored around 85 million. The names of the characters are still unknown but each cast member has a stereotype name. Between a mix of studio politics and personal issues for the actor, Numerator Pictures was not able to produce an installment of its Liam Neeson vs. quasi-franchise for Year 4. However those issues have been resolved and Liam Neeson will return in March Year 5 in Isolation. It's Liam Neeson vs. a Serial Killer...IN SPACE. The film follows Elizabeth, (Emma Watson) a remarkably clever college graduate and the daughter of a weathly CEO (Bill Murray). Upon getting a job at a small town library, she moves into an apartment building. It also follows a man named Mr. Jones, (Owen Wilson) a man unemployed after failing work at several odd jobs. However, much like Elizabeth, Mr. Jones is an impressive intellect. After moving into the apartment next door to Elizabeth's apartment, the two become unlikely friends. The film will also star Emma Thompson (Elzabth's mother), Jason Schwartzman (The apartment doorman), Rhys Ifans (An odd friend of Mr. Jones's), and Paul Dano (The son of another CEO). The story follows Dr. Eva Rosalene (Selita Ebanks) and Dr. Neil Watts (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) —employed by Sigmund Corp.—as they fulfill the lifelong dream of the dying Johnny Wyles (Michael Caine). Johnny's wish is simple: he wants to go to the moon; however he doesn't know why. To accomplish this task, the doctors must insert themselves into an interactive compilation of his memories and traverse backwards through his life via mementos. With each leap to an important moment in his mind, they learn more about the patient and what brought him to his current position in life. Upon reaching his childhood, the doctors attempt to insert his desire to go to the moon. The intention is that once the desire is implanted, Johnny's mind will create memories of a new life based on that desire, and he'll die believing he lived without any regrets. Other cast members include: Simon Baker as Johhny II (young), Ellie Darcey-Alden as very young River ,Bonnie Wright as young River (Johnny's wife) + a few to be announced.
