Maybe japanese just don't like superheroes like the rest of the world do. Japan has it's own distinctive taste, this is not a surprise for me...

One of the reasons could be that Japan already has its own superheroes and they are also quite popular (Astroboy, Mazinger, Power Rangers, Sailor Moon, One Punch Man, My Hero Academia etc), the Marvel ones are pretty cool but they aren't something totally new or never seen like in other countries
