1.15b OW is rather sick. Better presence than I thought in rurals which is surprising for the kind of product this is.

 

The fanbase strength on this franchise is still nuts. It'd be akin to if the Chosen films they've been putting out in the US opened to like 40-50M.

It needs to almost double the first one for 14M on current ER. Maybe WOM can carry it there but dreamworks is not popular at all in Japan so that seems unlikely. 8-10M seems more likely, provided jp atleast cares enough to show up to the OW. Atleast the release window is fairly empty until conan if memory serves.

Titanic is releasing close to 222 locs. Not yet sure about SC.. but within 230-240 SC For comparison, Avatar was released on 262 SC.

Friday seems about exactly the same for titanic as it was for the avatar re-release to me. It's doing slightly less on slightly less shows. At 2PM avatar was 4077/11412, while titanic at 1:30PM is 3471/9049.
