We did it!! We did it!!! Toei's "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" crossed 10M admits!!!

Total Until SUN (06/04) - ¥14,436,078,140 / 10,025,548 admits (184-Days Total)

Toei's "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" became the 4th Post-CoVid-19 Film to break 10M admits after TOHO's "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" (ofc, it's closure to 29.3M admits), Toei's "ONE PIECE: FILM RED" &Toho's "Suzume's Locking-Up"

Overall, It's Toei's "Only 2nd Film to break 10M admits after ONE PIECE: FILM RED"

Last Weekend, it ranked 10th (in gross), this weekend it's back to Top 10 at 9th (in admits!) That to at 27th Weekend! Likely to finished above "Suzume" (¥14.79B) So far, the most impressive run for a local Film since "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" back in October 2020.

I don’t like this film but music and trailer were fire.

So, another RRR Numbers (I guess). Naatu Naatu was a big factor for RRR success but ofc it's due to multiple International Noms/Wins. Wonder if KGF have any field on Noms/Wins - Recent Brahmastra release didn't went well did less than RRR OW (or maybe OD itself - though no reports from Twin's end either)

I won’t expect much. Naatu Naatu was more like celebration song, KGF has more dark & heavy on testosterone vibe

RRR (Rise, Roar &Revolt)

32nd WKend - ¥18,658,760 / 11,502 admits

Total Until SUN (05/28) - ¥2,080,058,780 / 1,330,053 admits

33rd WKend - ¥26,378,530 / 15,455 admits

Total Until SUN (06/04) - ¥2,119,846,820 / 1,355,906 admits

Well, that's an increase - Wonder if it could reach the heights of Asmik's "One Cut of the Dead" (¥3.12B) or Tokyo Theatre's "In The Corner Of This World" (¥2.70B)

One of these is one of my favourite Japanese movies, the other is one I view as massively overrated.
