Sat is less than OD, looking like ¥900M but may end at ¥600M for today. But, I hope it nears enough to ¥2B, so that it can make ¥2.5B OW. Lastly, E.R. is at worst (Dec 2020 : ¥103 /Dec 2021 : ¥116), so it's pointless to convert the figures

2021 in Japan ended on November 21, 2021. Japan follow Oricon /Eiren Calendar for sales and box office. So, December release are added to 2022 Eiren Annual Box Office, likewise goes for manga, DVD, Merchandise...... 

 

Some Notable works are 99.9 (Dec 31), Bang Dreams (relatively small : Jan 1). Four local works will open alongside NWH, among them 2 are wide (Bungo Stray Dogs The Movie: Beast &The Sunday Runoff).

 

Altogether, NWH will compete against 4 new works + 99.9 + JJK0

When DS was released many JJK fans mocked the film with terrible ratings at several rating sites. Now, the same DS fans are dropping the bomb. Fans fights are common but what affecting is GA confusion about quality and of course the numbers. High hopes and expectations was arise when JJK Movie 0 shortly overtake DS at 14:00, now those are gone. In fact, the main twitter account gave up promoting the film. It's just a sad reality that many expect JJK Movie 0 to dethrone DS (¥40.45B) irrespective of their differences in release date including the factors behind success.

There is a big question rising if Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 can defeat Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time or not?

 

Another Question arise about Post-Kimetsu Films in Japan. Because now each Studio are looking forward for best Production. The Question is how long will this record held by DS.

 

Currently, everyone is witnessing next biggest fracture legs after Detective Conan The Scarlet Bullet. Well, unlike JJK, EVa was released on Monday. While, JJK Movie 0 was on Friday. Since when it opens, it keeps dropping each day while it's corresponding works like Kingsmen, Your Turn To Die keep increasing.

 

There might be a question if reception is bad. But, the answer is no. It simply because of Divided GA, or failed marketing.

 

In fact, the parent of Japanese Cinemas, Eiren is unable to forecast the exact OD numbers of Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0. Which is kind of shame that despite of large scale opening, the film keeps dropping each day. 

 

Currently, Industry is looking for a number more than EVA's seven days total in Week 1 (See spoliers) but if it failed then ¥10B dreams are dead. Likely, Sony's No Way Home is safe to win the OW.

I haven't watched Kimetsu no Yaiba, but completely read the manga. It's an okay read but I never understood it's popularity. I also finished reading all available Jujutsu Kaizen and maybe because I have grown older, It has a little better story in comparison but that can change as story isn't finished. I don't like to watch Anime because of time constraints but do they completely change the story or Villains or ending in Anime that KnY became so popular?

Why would someone expect JJK 0 to beat Demon Slayer?

 

- JJK 0 is a prequel to the anime series

- Mugen Train started right off where DS Season 1 ended.

- Mugen Train is canon to the whole anime story arc.
