Will it beat the OW of the previous film (the 21st)?

Possible, since it was only the morning and late evening where 21 had the advantage.

Would have been really interesting to see how it would have done if it opened on Saturday instead. Oh well.

Almost certainly would've been a record breaking Saturday. Its 3-day will be much larger than 21's 3-day regardless (i.e. Opening Friday > 3rd day Monday)

This result means that 22 has a chance to reach 1 million admissions over the 2-day (only two films have done that, 21 got very close). If it does, that would be amazing to have, especially given the Friday opening

So Conan 22 is looking at a record Sunday and Coco is looking at a single-digit Sunday drop, easily the best among the three.

As of 9 pm :

Coco -8.9%

Boss Baby -19.3%

Doraemon -33.8%

Will it beat Conan 21's OW?

I'm estimating that Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer, the twenty-second film in the franchise, opened between ¥1.30-1.35 billion ($12.1-12.6 million) on 1,025,000-1,075,000 admissions over the weekend frame. And since opening on Friday, I'm estimating a 3-day total of ¥1.65-1.70 billion ($15.3-$15.8 million) on 1,300,000-1,350,000 admissions.

As long as it exceeds ¥1.3 billion and 1 million admissions over the weekend frame, here are some key accomplishments:

>4th Domestic Film to Ever Debut With Over 1 Million Admissions.
>4th Biggest Opening Weekend for Any Animated Film.
>3rd Biggest Opening Weekend for Any Film Since 2007.
>New April Opening Weekend Record.
>New Franchise Opening Weekend Record.

Lots of all-time chart updates incoming.
