druv10
well 50 million for TA would be to crazy if you think about it...That would be the best Memorial day drop ever.47M is already sub 20% drop. TA will have one of the best Memorial weekend drops ever.
Moviefanatic
I'm curious to see what finally slows down The Avengers. I'd imagine over the June 8th weekend (Prometheus and Madagascar) it'll face a big theater drop and fierce competition.June 8th is where I think TA will take a hard hit too. baumer
June 8th is where I think TA will take a hard hit too.Naaa....45% drop maybe. Once next weekends 48-50% drop is done, I think it will settle in and start seeing some sub 40% drops.

baumer
Look at Spiderman, it dropped slightly less than 40% when Lilo and Stitch and Minority Report opened.http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2002&wknd=25&p=.htmAnd then it's biggest drop came in week 11 when it lost 900+ theaters and 4 films opened.http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2002&wknd=28&p=.htm

druv10
What kind of jump are they expecting for Saturday for MIB3? 75M seems hard from 17.5M Friday.

baumer
That's a very muted increase for TA. 115%. Yech. To make it to 500 today it needs a 47% increase.
junkshop36
MIB3 should see a decent increase today. It doesn't strike me as being a must see up front movie.
