Impact
Please tell me this isn't a show based off the film! (Back in the 50s-80s just about every film had a tv show!)
MovieGuyKyle17
No it has no connection to the Adam Sandler Jack Nicholson movie

Cedarpoint1111
Wasn't that funny but I will watch a few more episodes to see if I like it.
CoolioD1
Watched both episodes. Well, this is something I know never to watch again. Good lord, it was worse than Sheen's last sitcom.
Fakhir
The pilot was plain bad, the 2nd episode was merely adequate.
pinocchio
It already lost 40% of it's audience. R.I.P.
Cedarpoint1111
Still higher than almost everything else on cable. It's not going anywhere unless it continues to drop.
pinocchio
The problem for FX is they have this silly 10/90 deal with the producers of Anger Management. Which means if they want the show in the end they will have to order and pay another 90 episoded at once. Not even a hit show like Friends got such idiotic contracts. So, the risk for FX is huge and if the ratings don't look too good they might cancel the whole thing.

To me its kinda stupid and ruins the value and whatever quality of the show
JackO
It started off on fire. And every episode has been slowly terrible since then. A few more and I will join the millions that quit watching before me.
Rudolf
http://www.deadline.com/tag/charlie-sheen/if I understand that correctly it is not for FX to decide whether they want it or not. It is a question of the ratings alone.
pinocchio
Of course it's ratings alone. It's an FX show and probably quite expensive. If the ratings are too low on FX they can forget foreign sales and so on.

Kevin Bacon
I remember reading about that deal in a review and thought they were exaggerating as a joke. How in the hell does this garbage get 90 episodes after a critically panned and not-too-successful season, when we have to wait anxiously every year to see if The League and Community are continuing. Cedarpoint1111
Kind of surprised by the renewal. The ratings were not that good...
DoctorWho
The ratings weere very good for FX, The show had a bigger average than many of the network's scripted shows, including SUNNY and ARCHER
Kevin Bacon
They started out good for FX, but they've been steadily going down since the pilot. Besides, this is a standard sitcom, starring one of the biggest standard sitcom stars ever. It's obviously going to do better than two TV-MA unconvential comedies.
