Rsyu
Wow great numbers for MI5! Not sure how the 2nd day for Minions is good or not, but I think it's good. Rysu what's your prediction for the weekend? It's very good, it hardly dropped from yesterday despite MI5 opening. On top of the biggest OD for an animated film, I'm expecting minions to record the biggest OW for an animated film too this week. It should comfortably pass the lifetime runs of DM and DM2 on either Saturday or Sunday by the latest. Inside out dropped considerably from yesterday but numbers are pretty similar to last week. if it can fairly match last weekend's numbers it should be at 4.1-.4.3 million admissions by the end of the week pretty much making it a lock for the #2 spot in the most attended animated films list. Rogue nation like I already said, should achieve a series high with 2M+ admissions OW. Just to add, it's very refreshing and unique to see 3 animated films in the top 5 box office rankings during peak box office season, I don't think I've ever seen it happen before!
Rsyu
The record breaking single day box office occurred on August 2 2014, on the first Saturday of Roaring Currents with 1,875,228 admissions. This week's saturday could come close to that figure.

Rsyu
Saturday increases will be much weaker than last weekend. I assume you mean for Inside out. I agree which is why I put the lower end at 400K admissions or so but there's always a chance it could spring a surprise as it has been constantly doing throughout it's run. Infernus
You had me thinking a big drop is coming for IO, but that -5% from last thursday hardly seems big to me.. the daily drop's big but that was to be expected after the inflated wednesday. So, IO once again held very well despite such massive competition... Amazing!

Rsyu
Rsyu, do you have numbers for the highest OW for animated films in SK? If you have the list can u share? Much appreciated Okay, I may or may not have left a couple of films out so if anyone knows otherwise I'd appreciate the heads up. otherwise the top 10 OW in admissions for animated films looks like this. 01. 1,543,564 Kung fu Panda 2 (2011) 02. 1,158,307 Kung fu Panda (2008) 03. 1,036,114 Frozen (2014) 04. 872,404 Shrek the Third (2007) 05. 791,938 How to Train your Dragon (2010) 06. 736,365 How to Train your Dragon (2014) 07. 679,272 Inside Out (2015) 08. 663,400 Big Hero 6 (2015) 09. 664,487 Shrek Forever after (2010) 10. 559,557 Puss in Boots (2010) I didn't realize how big the openings for KFP series were. Minions might have a hard time beating that tbh.

I might be wrong though

I might be wrong though Definitely Shrek 3 and probably frozen. Decent shout at KFP but KFP2 looks unlikely. It would need something like 250-700-600 for Fri-Sat-Sun. Not impossible but unlikely.
