It opened to #3 or #4 in India behind a new opener and one or two holdovers. Doesn't actually matter as it pretty much flopped and fell big on the 2nd weekend as the big holiday release came into the market killing all holdovers this weekend.

don't confuse less interest in general (incl not all countries had e.g. the OT released then...) combined with strong local competition (India e.g. had the 2nd highest of all time this weekend.. or the weekend before it...)

A bit like lets say Gone With the Wind (part 2, but part 1 was in comparison rather recent) would get released in the US today and... lets say a French Sci-Fi wants to compete against it around the same time.

This example is not really correct, but to give you an idea how to approach more cautiously another regions 'reaction'

Sometimes it is only the wrong date, sometimes,....
