It opened to #3 or #4 in India behind a new opener and one or two holdovers. A bit like lets say Gone With the Wind (part 2, but part 1 was in comparison rather recent) would get released in the US today and... lets say a French Sci-Fi wants to compete against it around the same time. This example is not really correct, but to give you an idea how to approach more cautiously another regions 'reaction' Sometimes it is only the wrong date, sometimes,....
