Omni
Fact is...as soon as Aladdin slows down, it will really slow down. We shouldn't do the same mistake we did on Frozen. I'd go with 7.25M admissions. Long live the king and Toy Story 4 open in a few days.

Cooper Legion
Isn’t it a bit early for this “highest admissions day on the 4th weekend” business? We haven’t even seen the 5th weekend yet 😉 4 1

Doubtful to be honest. if the weekend total had increased by like 53% again like last week then I would be optimistic.

imbruglia
Beauty and the Beast (5,138,193) week1: 1,570,601 week2: 1,533,234 week3: 992,707week4: 524,657 (4,622,028) week5: 242,693 week6: 158,460 week7: 70,930 week8: 38,193 (5,132,304) Bohemian Rhapsody (9,946,132) week1: 706,776 week2: 1,133,842 week3: 1,294,853 week4: 1,506,433 (4,644,451) week5: 1,402,497 week6: 1,013,235 week7: 882,316 week8: 559,627 (8,502,126) week9: 616,008 week10: 492,255 week11: 175,290 week12: 81,131 (9,866,810) Frozen (10,296,101) was 1.7m in its 4th week, total 7.8m it had no competition and holidays, winter school break buff. Aladdin week1: 873,717 week2: 1,275,984 week3: 1,749,548 (*1 holiday)week4: 1.4m? (total 5.3m?) so Aladdin is more close to BH than others. Also distibution didn't expect big hit at all for both. in fact, Disney korea thought passing 1m was good enough. they only prepared "thank you 1m message by cast" and pretty much no goods for audience as they didn't care. both rising with "huge WOM" and "Music" despite bad critic scores. (BH was also 98% like at CGV) 6

Omni
Toy Story 4 should open to...500/700K I guess? Long Live the King doesn't look like a big threat based on CGV.
pepsa
The run of Aladin has been great! Hopefully toystory doesn't take away to much heat the comming weekend. It should go over 7.2m admission if they don't full to much screens. Toystory doing decent I guess ending today with 16k. I haven't follow toy stories daily ramp up but my guess would be 23k after monday and 34k -36k by Tuesday. For animation WoM is extremely important. Also an animtion movies has to convince the audience that it's not only for litle kids, if you can do that it will have some great legs (like inside out). You can see more adults getting intrested in IO during it's by it weekdays getting stronger compared to the weekends. Hoping for 1m + admission next week for Aladin (mon - sun). I did 1.41m from Mon to Sun this week (with a 400k sunday). So it has to hold better than 30% for it to get 1m next week. I think it wil do this, mon and tuesday will be bigger than last weeks or the same so that would make it that it can drop 34% over wednesday to sunday. And with the wom it's having it won't drop that hard I think. The only thing that might let it drop over 30% is saturation + a big break out of toy story but we don't have any reason to expect that so far. Let's say 5.3m after sunday 23/06 6.35m 30/06 7.05m 07/07 7.5m 14/07 7.75m End 7.95m But the it all depends on how much screens it can hold, if Aladin holds on to the screens it's drop can be a lot better. What we do have to note is that once a movie starts to drop big in SK it's falling off a clip even for great wom movies, once the ball starts rolling, screens get cut and you get thrown out. pepsa
TS4 is having a good surgent in PS's. Yesterday at 12pm 17.4k today at 10pm 35.5k. Looking over 38k today, so +20.5k. Tomorrow it should see another good bump to over 70k. This would be pretty good for it. Thinking over 1m OW (Wed to Sun) will happen. Btw the site says it come out on Thursday is that true? Also aladins presales still looking great, will get over 80k today. The SK movie Parasite is slowing down, and the SK boxoffice could easily sustain Aladin + decent TS4 + rest overs. So I am guessing it won't drop to hard this weekend. JW3's previews shoudn't hurt TS4 or Aladin because of different demographic + small release. 2
