dashrendar44
Andrew Dominik has made two movies better than TDKR. List invalid. Edited September 8, 2013 by dashrendar44
Squaremaster316
Hmm... Jesse James? Nope. Chopper? Nope. Killing the Softly? Aaand...Nope. 3 strikes. This is where you get off.
DAR
I have no idea what's happening.Though I don't think you can compare a comedy director like Adam McKay and his films to Nolan and his. They're going for something completely different
The Stingray
Jesse James is a masterpiece. TDKR ain't.

Phil in the Blank
I cant help it if it sucks. But you can help your own film tastes. You should work on that.
DAR
Square I love TDKR and think Nolan is a great filmmaker but you got to get off your knees every now and again
Hangman
Seriously. That's a hell of a list. That's incredible. Or did you just google directors in alphabetical order and then eliminate a few? Pretty sure that's what he did. ALL were vastly WORSE than TDKR In fact, since we're bringing up lists.... Here's a list of directors with two or more films to their directorial credit who have NEVER made a single film as good as TDKR or ANYTHING Nolan has ever directed: Tommy Chong Tommy Chong??? lol
rukaio101
Jon Favreau- Iron Man Trey Parker- South Park: Bigger, Longer + Uncut Justin Lin- Fast Five/6 James Wan- The Conjuring Joel Schumacher (Yes seriously)- The Lost Boys/Phonebooth Danny Devito- Matilda Chris Columbus- Home Alone/ First two Harry Potters Each of these I enjoyed much more than Nolan's weaker films like The Prestige and TDKR. And those are just the really obvious ones I recognised first time around.

dashrendar44
I guess Tommy Wiseau is as good of a director as Nolan and made a movie as good as TDKR since he's not mentioned in that joke of a list. LOL at Fred Durst being listed as a director. Edited September 8, 2013 by dashrendar44

Squaremaster316
Directors with TWO directorial credits minimum Tommy, the Ecks Vs. Sever guy and the Corky Romano fella aren't eligible.
#ED
Is this even a debate? This movie is fucking awesome.Good reviews + Good Box office.Great trilogy. The Dark Knight is just in its own league.
rukaio101
Directors with TWO directorial credits minimum Tommy, the Ecks Vs. Sever guy and the Corky Romano fella aren't eligible. So James Nyugen (director of Birdemic and Birdemic 2: The Ressurection) is eligible? Of course, I can completely understand why you wouldn't want to put him on the list. After all, his films are in a class of their own...

Wiseau got two directorial credits on his IMDB page, just saying. (Or short movies are not considered movies so Following is not a movie by this logic) Edited September 8, 2013 by dashrendar44
