baumer
An interesting note about the box office in Canada. You might be seeing greater jumps on Tuesday in Canada and bigger drops on Wednesday than before. Cineplex Odeon just bought most of the AMC's in Canada. AMC did not have cheap Tuesday, they had $6.00 matinees on weekends. Now they have scrapped that (bastards) and all the locations they bought now have cheap Tuesdays. This could affect the box office big time. Gopher
So what's going to survive TDKR this weekend? Ice Age is probably safe as it won't be losing many screens. Spider-Man is going from 3-4 screens to 1 screen at a bunch of local multiplexes, so that's getting hit hard.

baumer
Katy Perry and Savages screen declines are probably going to be uglyI don't think Savages will get hit too hard. It's an R rated movie and it's serving that demographic quite well. KP will get massacred.

MagnetMan
You think Ted? I would imagine his audience would greatly overlap with TDKR. Just seems like all the 18-40 year old men who would like the sophomoric humor of Ted (and that's not a jab - I loved Ted) would be pulled over to Batman.
