Terrific sci-fi storytelling and animation. The last act had me in tears, as is often the case with Pixar films. - 9.5 / 10

Reading everyone's gushing comments reminds me how visually beautiful the movie actually is. And how genuine the connection is between WALL-E and EVE.

 

I didn't know it was possible for you to like a studio animated feature so much, as well.

Still don't care about the humans or the earth in the movie. Fuck 'em.

I think I figured out my problem with this movie. It seems to assume that the audience will get behind saving the earth and redeeming humanity just because you're a human who lives on Earth.

 

But these humans and this earth? Personally, I say fuck no. Cut back to Wall-E , please.
