I have! I remember we had a discussion about it here actually. The story is nonexistent obviously but it's a fun popcorn flick. China will eat it up.

Hahha. Yes I remember! I was not sure just now and did not want to assume, as we have been discussing more about JTTW2 and also about a particular fraud guy recently. :/ my memory of those are more fresh!

 

xXx's genre and pace is exactly to China's liking + Donnie Yen's role here is legitimately 2nd biggest... much bigger than Rogue One. China is eating it up!

Wasn't the gross due to the Paul Walker effect. I do not think it will surpass it b/c without the tribute to Paul Walker the major box office markets including China will at least have a drop from the previous one.

I think FF franchise is Big brand In China.Paul walker might be one reason，but that's not only reason.FF8 won't drop much，it may increase.

with service charges，things will be much easier

That was the original posters(worldwide). Then last month China Rev'ed up their marketing and for all the online platforms, they placed and used that banner i posted when mentioning about the premiere or ticket discounts
