Based on the numbers posted 11 hours ago, it sold 25M Yuan worth of presales for its OD (including midnights), which would be $3.8M. Of course we're talking about presales for the opening day only and 12 days before release, they are not supposed to be a significant portion of run, which is why we compare the numbers to other presales. Frank Posted May 27, 2016 Share Posted May 27, 2016 I was hoping for the movie be a sucess, but i lost it because the movie is making money so slow in the US, which they are making only $35m, and in China only $3.8m. For i movie based on games with a $150m budget, it's low. Even with a heavy negative reviews (which manipulate the minds of the people), i think the movie will not be sucessful.
