From THR:

'Skyfall' and 'The Hobbit' to be Released One Month Apart in China (Report)

So Bond and Baggins might not be battling it out in China after all. After weeks of speculation about Skyfall and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey being given same-week releases in the country, online reports have indicated the two films will be released nearly a month apart, with the latest 007 installment unsheathing his Colt on Jan. 20 and the Lord of the Rings spin-off unspooling on Feb. 15.

The Hobbit could still be put against something else. firedeep had three February possibilities on the list he posted a couple of weeks back: Cloud Atlas (which has to come out sometime, since there was some Chinese production involvement), A Good Day to Die Hard (which could come out in mid-February to coincide with the international release), and Django Unchained (the Chinese media is now reporting that Sony wants a mainland release--it'll be interesting to see how that pans out). I think The Hobbit would do OK against any of these movies, but it'd still take a hit. Edited by Bob Violence

Cloud Atlas (no IMAX release) and Jack Reacher are now both in January with SKyfall.

No actual dates are set for all.
