Won't be surprised if it does more in China than it did at domestic boxoffice (19 million).

95m Sat

70m Sun

210m weekend?

if Thursday was a little better than it shouldve been due to VD then Friday should be smaller.  I don't think it can bump 100%+ like spidey on Saturday and in turn sunday would be less

 

40-44m fri

80-86m sat

55-60m sun

 

So 20% of showtimes are going to new releases. Is Aou at 65% and going to 45%? Tuesday will take a big hit I assume for more than 20%. Are there any local releases next Friday too?

hmm. So something like 40/80/60 for the weekend at best. So something like 180m weekend at best. I think 1.5B is dead. Most probably 1.4B finish at best as there are releases galore after that. After San Andreas opens it wont gross anything worthwhile.

 

By the way would any of the openers this weekend gross anything worthwhile? what are the screen counts for the weekend.

Based on saturation numbers Avengers could have 15% of showtimes and still gross the same numbers. I assume next tuesday it will have just 15% of showtimes.

It's the same story in every market. Age of Ultron has done good numbers in most places but legs have been a real let down.

AOU WOM from GA is really mixed if not bad.

On Wanda App, only 70% audience who bought tickets liked it ,even Chappie had 92% liked - rating.

27.5m? This is like last Thursday where there was a lot of doom and gloom but it does seem worse. not a good Monday to Thursday drop with no competition affecting it and it causes a ripple effect down the line. The weekend should still do its +40 +80 -30% move but weekdays will worsen with IF and TL opening on Tuesday.

 

230s are looking likely now and keysersose maybe enjoying a new photo, 1.4b looking shaky. Watching the usual suspects this evening actually.
