You're welcome, f... Yes, the housing price seems to be stabilizing at the moment. And that's actually good news. China's realestate industry has already sucked too much money and greatly restrained residents purchasing power.

Agreed. It's hard to imagine so many people would go to see such a red movie if it's not for Tsui's name and the film is actually good.

If there is a box office A-list for Chinese directors who could pull 1 billion-plus grossing Chinese language blockbusters, I would say Stephen Chow, Ning Hao, Xu Zheng, Tsui Hark will all be on the list. Justin Lin could join them as well if this summer's Hollywood Adventures does 1B. Ang Lee would be there too, if he makes big Chinese language films again. Feng Xiaogang and Jiangwen on the other hand both seem to have peaked. The guy who directed The Monkey King (2014) does not count ...

Lin just producing this movie though, The actual director Timothy Kendall I dont know much about but he doesn't have Lins CV. It might not live up to Lins reputation, despite its stars.

It's marketed as Lin's film in China. Damn Enlight ...

Ah right. They are saying its directed by Lin or just 'presented by Lin' like they do with some Asian movies in America? That can be the difference clever marketing or false marketing.

Even without Lin, the stars are very popular in Mainland China correct? So it should still reach a high number.

What's your prediction for MJ1, since It will be released in 3D?

Maybe 50 kk?

I mean.. I don´t believe that it is just about the price of the tickets..

In China people love 3D movies...
