I thought kong was promoted too. It had a tuesday preview that caused PS to rip a bit more the last 2 days and the PS multi still got to 4x as did XXX at 143m OD.

SM on pace to increase 30-35% today to 9.8-10m.  Slightly ahead of Kong

Tue thru thur PS

9.9m x 1.4 x 1.45 x 1.75= 35m PS x 3.75 PSm = 132m OD × 3.4 ODm = 448m OW. 

Up to 10% higher or lower depending on both PS daily increases and PS multi being 3.5 or 4

Too early to say but if it gets good WOM, 100M should be in the bag. With a shot at 150M.

100-140 mill IMO

 

100-110 mill if WOM is mixed and frontloaded from OD

125 mill with mixed-good WOM 

140 mill+ with great WOM

 

That should be the range unless something unusual happens

War for the Planet of the Apes probably will be the next.

If you judge by the name of director then Dunkirk isn't doing as well as Nolan's previous films. If you judge it as a war movie, then it's doing pretty ok.
