Unfortunately no. There is no chance of 1b WW. Dom and OS holdover is looking to finish around 760. From there it would need 240m in China to get to 1b and that is not going to happen with this opening. Realistically the best it could do in China would be 150m for a 910m WW finish. 

 

Looking at the OD and sat presales it is looking at a 140m total in China for a 900m finish worldwide.

@POTUS means 175-180 million Yuan on Saturday according current presales. With a 72-73m dollars OW, the total seems headed to about $140m in China. Forget the billion. $900m is the target.

Up to 161M+, should finish over 180M. Pretty healthy increase from Friday. 70M+ OW, competition isn't bad so it should finish between 135-140M.

The pre-sale of War for the Planet of the Apes is really weak......A little bit better than Dunkirk at the same period. $50m OW is in danger.

Wu Jing just mentioned at the HK press conference of Wolf Warriors 2 that Jet Li, Donnie Yen and him are discussing a script and making a film together.

I saw a clip of them celebrating Donnie's wedding anniversary, in the clip there id also Alibaba's Jack Ma. If this film is made... might break a lot of records.
