Tues PS just passed 1m. I forget exactly what the timeline was for Mon PS, but I think Tues looks pretty good for an increase.

Tue PS over Mon now. PSm usually drop but PS will increase more than enough for increase.

 

Maoyan think 10.96mn Tuesday.

Mon was able to go a bit over 9m for a 52% drop. Tues PS up by 20% 😁
 

Also an interesting thing I noticed:

Mon D-1 PS were 0.159

Tues D-1 PS 0.181 (+14%)

Wed D-1 PS 0.364 (+100% 👀)

That will be really nice.

 

Thurs D-2 days is 4x what Wed was. May be this won't do bad afterall. Also could be some folks rushing in before it lose shows to New Year plethora of releases.

Yeah but good thing is it is already at 25k shows only, running at highest occupancy, so show loss mostly may come from the likes of The Rescue.

 

It should be able to hold its shows.

I’m gonna give it another couple days to be sure, but certainly a Tues increase has been a critical commonality of previous breakout runs.

The only excuse could be that Monday hold was bit too good.

Sun increase was also in excess of previous breakouts. Zootopia had a holiday Tues, but Tues/Sat is fine vs Coco and even not that short of Dangal.   
 

However, Wed must increase from Mon or I will completely stick a fork in it.

Wed PS 1.92, up another 20% from Tues. Not expecting as big a PSm drop, but we’ll see.  
 

Thurs D-1 at 1.04, +200%. Obviously NYE boosted, don’t read too much into it. However, I find it encouraging that it’s a bit above Ponyo and Dream of Eternity PS with half the screens so far.

Wed PS 2.03m (rouglhy 2m) up 19.4% from yesterday.

Yesterday the ps ended at about 1.84 at around 4pm or so. Let's se how much it will add today.

With the latest figures, it’s 2% down daily and 29% down from Sat. Would have preferred +2% for sure, but Wednesday could reasonably go for 10. Let’s see how reception, showings, grosses, occupancy etc work themselves out on Thurs.
