I know Japanese people are mostly unable to understand American jokes...Humor is something very cultural, Western comedies are mostly flops in Asia for this reason, and I'm sure Asian comedies would flop in the US and Europe.

Most foriegn movies only get four weeks' run in China. Skyfall will end its run by Feb 17.
