Before National Day, Briefly summaring IF performance in 2022 CBO. A Total of 41 Imported Films has been released from Jan-Sep, accounting ¥3.3B (i.e. 13% of 2022 CBO).

 

A total of 8 Films has passed ¥100M. Universal's "Jurassic World Dominion" became the biggest Winner of the year and the only film to pass ¥1000M. 6 films failed to reach ¥1M

Looks like the more modern jets like the J-20s are going to be more prominent in this movie compared to the movie Sky Hunter. But the CGI is, well, still too CGI. But I guess it's still a learning curve for the Chinese movie makers in making these kinds of movies.

 

Can't wait for the induction of the Fujian CATOBAR carrier and its stealth carrier fighter the J-35 into the Chinese Navy. Then, we can have a proper Top Gun clone movie 😄
