Have not seen it since 2004, but I remember it being pretty good.

Watched it again tonight. Such a great movie. I love the "yo homie is tha my briefcase?" sceneAlsoVincent standing up to Max"s boss about damage to the car over the radio scene.

This movie fires on all cylinders. Dialogue, suspense, direction, and action. I'm shocked its not in the high 80s or 90s on RT. RT is such a joke sometimes. Its honestly way up there with Heat IMO.

the ONLY reason this is below Heat is the fact that Tom Cruise clearly had his way with the script a bit terminatorizing his character ( who was perfect the way he was and the way Tom played him so there was no need for it really ) in the final act of the film 

 

Otherwise its another LA noir crime drama that Michael Mann should be making all the time

Extremely good movie. The fact that the last one would be the girl was pretty obvious, but nonetheless a good movie. It even succeeded to make you care for the main villain when he dies.

One of the things that I love in that scene is that Kurt Cobain lookalike grabs the briefcase and he says "Ooooooh jackpot!" I love the delivery. Incorporate it into my lingo. Cheap gas price at a station? Ooooooh jackpot!
