Michael Gary Scott
Tbh, Watson was forgettable in perks. Ezra and Logan were the standouts. It deserves those, picture, and screenplay nominations.I disagree I thought they were all strong.

forg
Meryl was good in Hope Springs, like this performance better than her work with Iron Lady, Julie and Julia and Doubt. I'm glad she got a nomination. She requested Sony not to send screeners for this and campaign her so she's taking the year off Edited December 13, 2012 by forg
riczhang
Campaigning is ridiculously hard work and Meryl campaigned her ass off last year, I can see why she wanted a break.

TLK
Life Of Pi is my dark horse contender for BP win. This is a strong year for frontrunners so the probablity of LOP winning isn't that high but it will be sort of a poetic justice if the frontrunners stumble and an Ang Lee movie wins BP. 4815162342
Why do they think we care?I'm sure they don't give a damn what you think. And you remaining ignorant of the precursor process is probably fine by them as well.
Sims
I'm sure they don't give a damn what you think. And you remaining ignorant of the precursor process is probably fine by them as well. I was a little hostile. I'm curious though why lesser critics' branches from these guys to the Dubuque Online Critics of Color Association thinks they need to release longlists. 4815162342
Honestly probably so they can go full disclosure with the people who normally read their reviews, etc. It's interesting to see what films are actually considered in a category, rather than just who wins. Shows the actual mindset of the critics, since the longlists show the group considers the female acting categories to be more narrow in suitable contenders than the male ones.
