CoolioD1
What is NBR?National Board of Review. They're not even real critics tbh...
pieman
To be fair, they are film historians, filmmakers, students and enthusiasts. Just because they are not critics doesn't mean they can't have their say.
CoolioD1
I know, of course, but it's odd that they are always lumped together with the critics awards even though they're not actual critics. Still, I'll add their winners to the thread anyway.

4815162342
Either ZD30 or Les Miserables will win at NYFCC. Both of the films have the inside track based on their background. ZD30 is helped by the fact that the NYFCC went for United 93.I just want a very diverse set of precursor winners so everything is up for grabs. riczhang
Hoping for Riva for actress. It seems like she could be the consensus option. There are equally as many people who rave her as Lawrence, but she doesn't have any detractors while Lawrence while minimal in number has a few.Les Miserables winning BP at NYFCC would be awesome. TLK
I am rooting for Riva to win Best Actress. She needs to win a couple of critics choice awards in order to build momentum.
