I doubt that. It's more about nostalgia and the improving economy. The economy has improved dramatically in recent years. Many families can now afford to go to the movies.

Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced. chrisman0606
Has their been a movie in the Philippines that was very leggy, because movies released their are front-loaded like making over 50 percent of it total on opening weekends. Why is the Philippines a frontloaded market.
forg
From last year I'm guessing South Korea's Train to Busan had a leggy run here because that one was a word of mouth hit. When I was a kid Titanic ran for nearly a year Usually local movies are the ones that are leggy especially the ones released around September and October when there's no major Hollywood movie so they can spend a lot of times in theaters. When there's a big Hollywood movie, the first weekend they dominate the screen share so the demand is easily burned out. The major cinema chains are ran by malls and we don't reallyhave that much screens, the biggest mall here have 12 screens only, normal malls have around 3-5 screens so turnover rate with movies is quick Edited May 30, 2017 by forg

So most people watch them in their first two weeks.

KathNiel
WW now earned 412.7M making it the second-highest grossing film this year. Will it beat BvS to become the biggest DCEU movie in the country? I think that one grossed around 550M.
