Honestly I vaguely remember the hosts. I remember liking Jon Stewart though.

The last good Oscar show was Hugh Jackman's. Steve Martin was so much better when he hosted solo than he was in 2010 with Baldwin. Hathaway and Franco were an unmitigated disaster, so bad that next year's producers weren't going to take chances with Murphy/Ratner and chose the safest possible route with Billy Crystal. 

 

Macfarlane will probably be fine this year, but I think Fey and Poehler are the favorites to host next year and every year forever.

Tina Fey won't do it. They've asked her like past 3 years. Globes are a lot easier so I can see why she would do that and not this.

Could she consider doing it with Poehler? Whether it's at the Globes or the Oscars, we're definitely seeing those two back next year.

Keep Spike out of it, I am clearly kidding. All he would do is rant about how he should have had an oscar nomination before John Singleton, or tell us how he doesn't understand why he can't get funding for his films, or how Hollywood is racist....he'd be awful.
