Yeah, pretty much. Because of that I now have only 7 days to read both Huckleberry Finn and Uncle Tom's Cabin, and to write a proper essay on how they depict slaves.

Huck is an easy read unless you just want to download a TV flick with Elijah Wood. Uncle Tom is now a negative sterotype because he was OK with slavery. So is Mammy in GWTW. She was a proud house slave. Edited by fishnets

I'm really liking Huck even though the finnish translation sucks ass. They translator is trying to bee too clever, making the negro slaves speak in a peculiar mix of finnish dialects. I should have chosen the original language version.
