4815162342
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss Jack Bender, formerly of Lost and The Sopranos, will be directing two episodes of the forthcoming season. Bender has been on the radar of Benioff and Weiss for a while. He was approached earlier in the show’s run, but couldn’t make the time commitment required, due to scheduling conflicts. It’s a huge commitment too, in comparison to directing only one or two episodes of most other shows. Apparently he’ll be overseas for the full second half of the year, from July to December, before returning to work on his next project. Even though he was generally aware the commitment was long, he says he was in denial until the dates were actually handed to him. “When my agent called and said, ‘These are the dates,’ I said ‘No, you are wrong. It’s not possible.’ But that’s how long it takes. You’re overlapping with another director. There are two full units. You are there for a long time.” http://winteriscoming.net/2015/06/23/jack-bender-slated-to-direct-game-of-thrones-season-6/
The Panda
I believe them saying Jon Snow is dead dead. But that doesn't mean Melisandre can't bring him back to life.

An Americans director dropping by is never a bad thing. My feelings on Bender have already been stated. Not sold on Mylod returning. Sapochnik directed the two best episodes of Season 5 so I'm full onboard with him coming back for key episodes. But no Neil Marshall
Spidey Freak
But no Neil Marshall I know. But I wonder if they are saving Nutter and him for S7. Also, now that MacLaren is no longer attached to Wonder Woman, was there any reason not to have her return?

James
I still don't get the love for Stannis. I actually prefer Joffrey to him

4815162342
Since the casting call sheet from a few weeks back pretty much confirmed Euron will appear, the people at Westeros.org are really getting excited about who will get cast. The two perennial casting favorites there for the character are James Purefoy and Mads Mikkelsen, both of whom just had their show get canceled, which only gives the posters there even more hope.
4815162342
Comic Con panel didn't reveal any casting or new information other than a confirmation that Stannis is dead and the cut-away was just a cinematic tool rather than something supposed to be ambiguous.
