cozmeesah
Conan O'Brien tweeted about his. I'm sure Seth MacFarlane will get one (huge GoT fanboy) and tweet about it.But MGS is right, not a lot of A-listers on Twitter that tweet much. Community Manager Water Bottle Posted March 17, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted March 17, 2013 Just had the latest Entertainment Weekly delivered with John Snow and Daenerys standing nice and comfy next to eachother. Does EW know something we don't! Not necessarily.. Marketing a show usually involve pairing actors up even if they have no scenes together. I remember the Reaper DVD cover had characters together even though they hadn't met in the show...ever. I would never use marketing to gather actual plot points (even trailers will mislead you) as it meant to sell, not spoil, although, sometimes marketing does spoil at times. 4815162342
Pretty much what WB said. There are plenty of Jon/Dany shippers out there in the wilds, but some of that is based on book details the show hasn't really acknowledged much yet. The marketing is pretty much just pairing two 20-something good-looking actors together. For reasons only book readers will know, I am 100% against the ship. The only Game of Thrones ship I support is Joffrey and an untimely, slow, and painful death.

Some of the GoT fan ships get very, very weird.

But it's not the creepiest. That would be the small but determined contingent of Jon/Arya shippers.
cozmeesah
WHAT?!?? Now I've been to a lot of GoT places but thankfully I've managed to avoid those lunatics.

I've come across them at westeros.org, which is the main site for readers (along with Winter is Coming).
cozmeesah
I've come across them at westeros.org, which is the main site for readers (along with Winter is Coming). I know, I go to both of those places all the time. But admittedly I don't go into that many threads at westeros because so many of the people are infuriating, lol. So I probably missed the threads that had those people in it.
4815162342
Speaking of Season 3, the most recent trailers have shown Melisandre and Thoros of Myr together. This has very quickly led to speculation that Gendry is going to take on the role Edric Storm had in the third book, since there's no sign that Edric Storm is going to be in the show. No use introducing another character for viewers who are already overwhelmed by the number of characters, then adding the several new ones they're already getting this season. It will be more impactful using Gendry because we've been made to care about him for 2 seasons. No one would care about Edric if he were introduced one episode before Mel tries to do that. So what ep will the scene not to be named happen. I want to know how long i have to stay unspoiled. Spoiler, yet not a spoiler, but I'm putting it under a cut anyway: You know there's a scene not to be named coming but don't know what it is? Best not to tell you which episode then, just suffice to say you'll have to keep trying to stay unspoiled for quite a while.
