Not nearly as good as the first two, but this is still a pretty entertaining and fun movie. I laughed.3/5

SFA is the most uneven shrek movie by far. The first 40 minutes are good just like the first and second shreks, then the second act ruin the whole movie, what a boring (and filler) act, it feels a bad carbon copy from the first Shrek. When I had lost all hope in the movie, they totally scrap the idea of Shrek falls in love with Fiona again (thanks god) and go to another route and then the movie gets better and better, the climax is great and the 5 last minutes is pure masterpiece (aka Pixar level of quality).

 

ps: Rumpelstiltskin is a great villain, way better than Farquaad and Charming, tied with Godmother.

ps2: I really didn't liked the soundtrack, the lack of instrumental content and the beautiful theme really upset me.

ps3: the flutist is ridiculous, even for a Shrek movie.

Considering it followed the turd it's highly enjoyable and makes me almost forget that #3 even exists.
